An up and coming estate, Cambon La Pelouse owns 150 acres (poor, gravelly soil) situated between Cantemerle and Giscours. The vineyard is planted with 50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 20% Cabernet Franc. Since winery renovations were completed in the late nineties, the wines have shown considerable character in an early maturing, fruit forward style. Wine Advocate #153
