94 / 100 Robert Parker Golden colour. Enticing butterscotch, walnut, honey and warm brioche scented nose. There’s a pleasantly surprising level of spritz left, providing freshness to this rich, evolved style. A very crisp backbone of acid pierces the concentrated nutty, toasty flavours. Very long finish with characteristic chalkiness and a really interesting umami earthiness. Drink now. Tasted December 2008. In Asia Mar 2009
89 / 100 Wine Spectator An incredibly powerful, full-bodied Champagne that needs food to show its best. It lacks a bit of finesse, but it bursts with flavor--from buttery toast and butterscotch to chocolate, orange peel and grapefruit.--Dom Pérignon vertical. http://www.winespectator.com/wine/detail/source/search/not..
