Pleasant example that makes for pretty drinking. Of medium body, it's supple and silky, with some tar, dried herb, mineral and cherry flavors.--Sassicaia vertical. Drink now through 1998.

Definitely pale and quite old. Not clean on the nose but big, bold fruit on the palate, and nice intensity of fruit. Again some tannin. Quite long.
