Dear wine lovers,
We look at the effects of this catastrophe with great dismay. We have already been able to help friendly winegrowers directly on site and have seen the extent of the disaster with our own eyes. We as a company also want to leave no stone unturned to support the local inhabitants and, of course, the local winegrowing. We have therefore decided to donate the commission from the German wines in our auction to those affected on site. We have chosen the donation account of the Vdp "der Adler hilft". Thus, the donated amount will directly benefit the reconstruction of viticulture in the Ahr region.
Of course, there is also the possibility for you and us to donate directly. We would like to point this out to you very clearly.
We have listed donation options and other ways to help below. No matter how and in what form, please show solidarity with those who have been affected and help as much as you can. Every bit of help counts and is important!
In addition, we would like to mention how the wine industry in particular is getting involved. Both on site and in every conceivable other way. That is the only ray of hope in this difficult time.
Wanted:
- Expert helpers on the ground. Especially for the upcoming vineyard work such as pruning leaves etc. There are various WhatsApp groups for this (you are welcome to contact us for this) or ask directly at the wineries on site.
Please do not drive without consulting the local people. There are vast amounts of large machinery and vehicles on the road and there are regular blockages, which can be semi-avoided this way.

At Concept Riesling you can bid for a place at the Charity Dinner with icons of the wine world Weingut Keller from Dalsheim and Weingut Egon Müller. This auction will last until Saturday 25.7 at 18:00. To the dinner.

- if you are on site to help, please ask beforehand what is needed. Often buckets, shovels, pumps, snow shovels and brooms may be needed.
- Many donations of goods cannot be processed at the moment and many warehouses are already overflowing. In this case, please keep your donations in kind and wait a few weeks until you have an overview and then ask the DRK, for example.
