Tobacco and tar aromas, with hints of ripe currant as well. Full-bodied, with soft and silky tannins and dark chocolate, licorice and lead pencil flavors. A little loosely knit on the finish, but very enjoyable.—'88/'98 Bordeaux blind retrospective (2008). Drink now.
